Another Lasagna

September 13, 1987

1 8oz. pkg. lasagna noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 can sloppy joe sauce
2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. basil
1 t. oregano
1/4. salt
3/4 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. parmesan cheese, grated
1 t. dried parsley
1 lb. mozzarella cheese
 1/2 c. water

Prepare pasta according to directions on package. Lightly brown meat, drain. Stir in sloppy joe sauce. water, basil and salt. Simmer 15 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, parsly, oregano and garlic. Place half of the pasta in a 2 qt. casserole dish and half of the mozzarella cheese. Add half of the meat. Repeat layers. Bake 30 minutes at 350*. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Serves 8

Tips were good enough that I took the three of you to Hope's Cafe for breakfast and tomorrow your Grandma Marshall is taking you pear picking. Our friend Leroy took us to Littleton, Colorado for a 3 day trip.
We got to see Red Rock Mountains and Tiny Town, beautiful state.
